The Beaches on the Emerald Coast

Infinite sandy shores and hidden corners

Eighty kilometres of coast and around fifty beautiful beaches of fine, white granite sand, long sandy shores and small coves that play hide and seek, as well as the characteristic cliffs, of a rare beauty, and a whole spectrum of blues in our transparent waters: at Hotel Airone you’re surrounded by nature’s marvels.

Crossing the Gulf of Arzachena from the west coast, you’ll find the enchanting and long, white sandy beach of Tanca Manna, which separated only by a magnificent rock formation, joins up with the sandy shore of Isuledda. Once you’ve passed the village of Cannigione and its tourist port, you’ll arrive at the beach of Ea Biancaand soon after at the beach of Baja Sardinia, also known as Cala Battistoni.

That is where the real territory of the Emerald Coast starts, with the beaches of La Pitrizza, Liscia di Vacca and Cala Granu, located on the Capo Ferro peninsula where there is also the only lighthouse in Arzachena, across from the Isle of Bisce.

Carrying on south, you’ll find the renowned white beaches and crystal clear water in the heart of the Emerald Coast. Amongst the most well-known are Capriccioli, Poltu li Coggji (Spiaggia del Principe), Liscia Ruja, La Celvia and the del Pevero beaches.

At many of these beaches you will find a small restaurant zone with toilets, and at nearly all of them you can rent a sun-lounger and umbrella, and the beach is free. Paid parking is no more than 500m from the beach.
